“LITTLE ONE” a new South African movie
This South African film tells the moving story of a little girl left for dead near a township in Johannesburg. The girl is found by a middle-aged named Pauline, played by Lindiwe Ndlovu, who forms a strong bond with the neglected child. Ndlovu won the Best Actress award at the SAFTAs in March of this year for her role in the film and the movie has named as the official South African Foreign Language entry to 2013 Academy Awards.
This is one of a kind, a film I wish I was there to see as its opens. I surely hope it will bring some Glory for SA at this year’s Academy Awards – and also hope for an East African premiere in Rwanda this July.
